Goodbye 2017, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
As I pack away 2017, I thought that it would be nice to revisit all that I was able to accomplish this past year.
I FINALLY completed my Forever Project: Rose Petal that went on for over a year. It was a learning experience. That was all that was.
With the learning experience of Rose Petal complete, Peacock Garden was a lot easier and turned out to be my best project to date.
I do still struggle with my Renaissance wear but I am beginning to have a better gauge with those... I hope.
On the whole this has been the best year yet for this blog. I am planning that next year will be even better.
Speaking of next year, I will be taking a little break from here to enjoy the holidays. My next post will be on January 26, 2018. I will be changing up some things here including the name.
The new name will be "Adventures of a Daydreamer," and again that will start on January 26, 2018
Until then I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Below are some pictures from this past week when I went to see the Nutcracker at the Ohio Theater in Columbus, Oh. I even pulled out some of the accessory pieces that I worked on when I made my "Snow" dress years ago.
Hair clips, Snowflake ribbon necklace and sparkly snowflake shoe clips.
I did not wear the button ring that I had made.
I went with my friend Samantha and her niece Anna. Where we had a wonderful time and a great girls day.
Couldn't leave without buying at least 1 ornament. Its tradition.
Until next year...
