A Little Progress a Little Exploring.

Hello again.  I am attempting to get back on track with keeping this as a weekly thing.  Its a lot easier to keep track of what I had accomplished rather than backtracking and questioning myself on what all I had done.

I am slowly working on my Coworker's pillows.  I have one pinned with the zipper installed.  And that is the extent of what all I have accomplished for that.  I am hoping to have all 4 completed by the end of the week.  The sooner that they are done, the sooner I can begin on my Summer Solstice project.



Mentioning the Summer Solstice project,  I took time to update it in my Colette Sewing Planner book.  Mainly I officially added a swatch of the eyelet fabric to the planner.  When I have been scouting in stores I have been using my swatch book instead.  Once I have my lining fabric & its been dyed I will be adding that scrap swatch to the Planner as well.  I also worked on 3 copies of the design sketch for this project.  One rendition in my Random Thoughts book that I try to keep with me at all times.  A second for the Planner of course.  The third, I have out and about in my room, currently by my calendar, so that I can always see it.  Once the project is complete I will be adding it to a presentation book of my designs.



That's about it for all that I creatively accomplished this week.  A fun little side mention, is that I also went to an Antique Mall over the weekend.  I purchased a framed art work piece of a beautiful summer dress that I may make someday, which is at the top of this post.  In addition to that, I came across a bundle of 4 different patterns for $1.50.  Two of the pattern sets I actually liked, so I purchased them as well.
