Count-down 7 days...

Hello again

Well the countdown is on. I have 7 days until my good but busy weekend arrives.  In short I have to hunker down and get to work on my top for the Renaissance Festival.  I am so glad I decided to do something low key this year.

Mock-Up Adventure

Pattern making round 1 is complete.  I graded the sizes to better suit my figure.

With pattern round 1 complete, pieces in my mock-up fabric of blue and white gingham are cut out.  The bodice is stitched-up with seams pressed and the same goes for the lower part.  The bodice gather stitches are even prepped. 

Presently, I am pinning the bodice and lower portions together.  Once the two are sewn together, its a matter of sleeves, zipper and elastic neckline.
