Warnings
Hello again,
I apologize for being late yet again. The past couple of weeks have been a little
crazy and the next couple will be as well.
So be warned. I will do my best
to keep this weekly but there is a possibility that I may miss a post. My goal, however, is to keep this as weekly
as possible.
Also be warned that I have recently been bitten (rather
late) by the spring cleaning bug. So in
addition to working on my Peach Blossom Project, I will be working on
additional piddily sewing projects and reorganization of my studio.
My current side project is repairing of a coworker’s 4
pillows. Whenever people catch wind that
I can sew, this is the most common question I get. However until now, no one has ever followed
through. Her dogs had decided that her
couch pillows were great chew toys. 3 of
which are simple stitch up repairs. In
fact, I managed to get 2 of them completely mended. The 4th pillow will require a
patch when I get around to it.
As for Peach Blossom, I completed my Full Bust Alteration
adjustments. Following my previous post,
I pinned scrap fabric between the front and back pieces at the shoulders to
cover the adjustment gap. After which, I
moved the pieces slowly apart. At the
current moment in time, all that I need was ½” along the adjustment lines. The next step is to make a fresh mock-up of
the top to insure that things will fit the way that they should.
