The Initial End of Organizing
Hello again.
Its Friday & Christmas is fast approaching. I hope that everyone is enjoying their Christmas prep activities. I personally haven't done much yet, however my tree is up & I am looking forward to attending the Dickens Holiday at the Ohio Village within the next couple of weeks.
As of this weeks activities in the world of creative works, was not so creative. Following the Renaissance Fair back in October, I made a decision that I would take it easy with a focus on correcting minute issues with my Renaissance pieces of this year as well as reorganize my supplies since numerous items never returned to their home spot. Even though the Renaissance pieces are still a work in progress, I am proud to say that outside of my muslin, all creation elements that I have used this past year have finally found their way back to their home locations. So all of the thread, the beads & fabric are now where they are supposed to be. This does not mean that my current set-up couldn't use more organizing, but I completed the main parts that I had wanted to do. In addition to this I have also added patterns from The Colette Sewing Handbook to my Taps App. Now I won't have to take the whole book into the fabric store when I am considering a potential project. Yay!!!
Below are before and after pics of the fabric & tangled ribbon mess that I have been working on

I love Ziplock baggies. They are see through and come in a variety of sizes.

Currently my duplicate ribbons are residing in my Tardis Backpack until I can find a better place for them. But this is definitely looking better.
Well that is it for this week. Next week I am considering the return of the Colette's Meringue skirt for an upcoming trip.
Until then take time to enjoy what you love & what you surround yourself with.
