Slowly but surely...
This will be a fairly short episode this week. But hey at least there is one, which is the reason behind this blog. Following the craziness that has been July & the final completion of Nellie's Birthday Frills, I am still trying to get back into the swing of things. Now I am beginning to inch away on my next project...
The Maid Marion Cloak: Aqua Mist Re-Visited
Previously, this cloak was seperated hood from body & lining from outer shell. Wanting a richer color, the lining was re-dyed. This, however was not done before the body of the cloak, which was composed of 4 seperate panels, was divided down the center line creating 2 panels, left & right sides.
For this past week, I did the very simple pinning & stitching up the center line of the lining making the entire body 1 full piece again.
Like I said very simple, which is what I need after all the brain-work required for Nellie's dress. This upcoming week I will more than likely remain simple with reattaching the body lining to the body outer shell before I return to problem solving brain work involving the hood & attachments.
Well that is all for this week, see you next week.
