Pirate-ty adventures of exploration & discovery

Hello again,

Its been a lil bit of a piratey week & I am still getting my bearings together, so bear with me.

This past week I did begin on beading the outer collar for Aqua Mist, but not much farther than that with a proper sewing project, however you were warned that that would be the case.  Most of my time has been spent on treasure hunting though.

Flashback, when I went to the Renaissance Fair this year I had purchased a Celtic Circle Circlet.  Arriving home in my sleepy & stressed out haze (God bless Onstar), I wanted to admire my booty from the day.  This I did in a different room of the house before bringing it to my room.  Upon having a decent sleep, I went to admire my goodies again, only to discover that I couldn't find the circlet.  I have been looking for it ever since.  So last weekend, believing that I knew which room it was in, I began to clean... and I found it on the floor under some drawers.  I had mis-remembered what kind of bag it was in.  It was a lil beat up, so I bent it back into shape.  There were also some gem issues.  2 of the gems had fallen out, I had 1 so I glued it into place.  I am also keeping an eye out for the last missing gem before I replace that.  I happened upon a box that is perfect for my circlets so that I don't loose any of them again.  I also am promising myself that I don't rearrange or look at my goodies post purchase until I am home & in my room.

The other adventure that I have been taking part in is exploring The "Taps Form Organizer." I found it through Colette Patterns Blog.  A while ago they did a post about how they organize things like fabrics & patternes & they recommended this app in the post...

How to organize a mountain of sewing patterns with your phone

So I have been playing around with it trying to create forms that would contain any info that I think that I would like to know or think important & adding my new pattern Wren to it to test out the info.  I've actually have been enjoying creating the data form but then again I've always liked creating formulas in Excel.

Now to play around with how to post pics...

Until next week...y
